There are some specific rules that will be in place when car2go starts up in Washington, D.C. First, you will not be able to drive it out of the borders the company decides to set. The exact borders aren’t currently set, but they may be just the boundaries of D.C. itself. So for example, you couldn’t get a car in D.C., drive it to Herndon, and park it there. You cannot park it at the end of the trip in a metered spot. In addition, you must park it in a spot that is legal the entire day. Of course, as anyone who has seen D.C. knows, that can be a challenge.
