In December 2010, Florida ended its very popular online testing amid concerns about cheating and a lack of preparation amongst graduates of that program. In fact, over 59% of those that passed the online test were unable to pass when retested at the DHSMV offices. Recently the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles agreed to re-implement the online testing program. This will certainly ease the pressure on the DHSMV offices by removing some of the necessary traffic.
